Duties
A Home Health Aide is an essential member of a healthcare team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, they may bathe, dress, feed, mobilize and transport people; obtain temperature, pulse and blood pressure measurements; and report observations and reactions. Other duties may include preparation of equipment, care of the patient’s room and record keeping. The home Health Aide functions as a home maker for the clients helping the client live in the comfort of their own homes while they are rehabilitating.
At the conclusion of the Home Health Aide program, the student sits for a completion exam at the school. If successful, student’s info will be forwarded and they will receive their state certificate within few weeks from the California Department of Public health.

- Days: Saturday and Sunday
- Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
Requirements:
- Age: Must be 16 years or older (adults and veterans welcome)
- Identification: Valid Social Security Number and California ID
- Language: Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Application Process: Complete the application and attend an in-person interview
